Our Scottish Performance

In primary 5 we have been learning a Scottish dance, poem and two songs, it was great. We have a very good teacher to teach us songs and dances we have been practising every day before home-time and sometimes I even practice at home. Our dance is the military two step it is such great dance and the girls have to choose a partner it was great fun. Our poem is called 'Auntie Bella' and it is about a boy who thinks that his dog is a lion and when people see him coming they shout lion so it is quite a funny poem. We also have a funny song which is called 'I am looking for a job' and our last song is a sad song about a woman that is missing her husband while he is at sea. In Class we have also been learning about Scottish Inventors and have been looking at what they invented and how it has benefited the world today.
